He liked the sound of my voice and I like so many "kid" books. When seventh grade Lito came out of a medical procedure, he was a wreck, and the only thing-I do mean the only thing-that would get him through, was to hear me read "Where the Red Fern Grows" aloud, AGAIN, there in his hospital room.
