It's maddening, but we do have the blessing of being on slightly staggered schedules during the day.Masked Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08197019009052401812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902905486725039444.post-11454297935034061212012-01-09T18:10:37.606-08:002012-01-09T18:10:37.606-08:00Larissa: now that I'm walking to work, I run l...Larissa: now that I'm walking to work, I run less risk of wearing my slippers, but more risk that I'll be in tennis shoes and a skirt all day!

Judy: Oh, the joys of one bathroom! I'm glad to hear of others who know. We don't need a second one, even though it was on my list of what to look for in a house...but when we saw this house, even with one bathroom, we just fell in love.

Mark: the weeping and wailing done here is all done by me (sad to say!) but I can generally marshal the troops to leave within 10 minutes of our goal. I've tried given a goal time 10 minutes earlier, but the family got wise to me....

Patti: I wouldn't have thought it before, but one bathroom has actually given me some fun memories! I'll never forget getting ready for a party, doing my makeup and my son was trying on ties, and his best friend was trying on cardigans....all together in the only room with mirrors!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05754778263332756663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902905486725039444.post-49573746301076342192012-01-09T17:30:15.435-08:002012-01-09T17:30:15.435-08:00We have more than one bathroom and we can STILL ru...We have more than one bathroom and we can STILL run behind on any given morning.

Enjoy your familyPattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00882468744335981117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902905486725039444.post-80120280468327495982012-01-09T16:23:03.725-08:002012-01-09T16:23:03.725-08:00My sons know all about schedules. We didn't have to be there by seven, but if there was no set departure schedule for all of the gears to be able to mesh properly, we had weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. As it was, it went as smoothly as possible, considering we had to travel down five miles each morning on a dirt road, to get to highway 101, for the run into town.Mark O'Neillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16295762252612104201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902905486725039444.post-53447164871757610382012-01-09T12:33:15.069-08:002012-01-09T12:33:15.069-08:00I am so happy to know that we are not the only peo...I am so happy to know that we are not the only people in the U.S. with only one bathroom! It doesn't seem like such a big deal now that our children are out of the house and it's just me and my husband. And I guess it really wasn't that big a deal when they were all home!Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16917139752555698353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902905486725039444.post-56296221206557036252012-01-09T10:32:39.325-08:002012-01-09T10:32:39.325-08:00Oh! Tim...Oh! I totally get that! I'm the same way.
Time isn't that big a priority (although I agree it probably should be), as much as getting items on my list crossed off with a big fat line.
*shrug* It's one of our quirks I suppose.
Oh, and about the slippers, I have a friend who leaves a pair of shoes at work...just in case.Larissa T.https://www.blogger.com/profile/18054129254135419707noreply@blogger.com
