that is sooo scary... just wait until your 'baby' drives off alone....
I clearly remember my first solo drive as a licensed driver. My Mom looked so calm in my rear view mirror...I hope I look the same for both of my kids!
Be patience and buckle up.
Absolutely! My getting nervous or tense does not help her stay focused and calm!
This is when the gray hairs start appearing by the dozens! I remember teaching my little sister how to drive, that was a hair-raising adventure too! The good part is that licensed drivers in the house make great errand runners! :-)
My first solo drive (almost 50 years ago) resulted in my father's car being totalled. Absolutely no fault on my part. I always figured that things could only get better from there on out.
I had three girls and I do remember taking them out to teach them. (:>) They all made it through and are excellent drivers! Keep the faith! (:>)Happy Saturday!Linda @ Truthful Tidbits
Good luck to both of you! I'm glad those years are still a ways off for us. :)
Ah, the rites of passage. My prayers are with you.
I have one down, one to go. I hope he does well.My 6ws is here: http://mlissabeth.wordpress.com/2013/02/09/six-word-saturday29/
Hi Michelle, there's an award for you over on my blog!
i am feeling so guilty because my daughter still doesn't know how to drive well enough to get her license ---it's scary!
