I clearly remember my first solo drive as a licensed driver. My Mom looked so calm in my rear view mirror...I hope I look the same for both of my kids!
This is when the gray hairs start appearing by the dozens! I remember teaching my little sister how to drive, that was a hair-raising adventure too! The good part is that licensed drivers in the house make great errand runners! :-)
My first solo drive (almost 50 years ago) resulted in my father's car being totalled. Absolutely no fault on my part. I always figured that things could only get better from there on out.
that is sooo scary... just wait until your 'baby' drives off alone....

ReplyDeleteI had three girls and I do remember taking them out to teach them. (:>) They all made it through and are excellent drivers! Keep the faith! (:>)
