There is no coffee in this house
The toilet paper is on its last square
The bag of bread has one heel left
The cracker sleeve is full of crumbs
The PB jar is scrapping empty
But the worst thing of all
Not Enough Dog Food To Feed Three Starving Dogs
(Starving is their word not mine)
But I will change out of my pajamas
Throw my hair up in a crazy ponytail
And go to the store
And buy coffee and tp and bread and
Dog Food
Then our morning can proceed as regularly scheduled.
We're on the downside of paper towels this morning. Have to have them as The Hubby thinks they are Kleenix!
ReplyDeleteI can't go to long without paper towels either! But I think I use them more to clean up than personal use.
DeleteI am impressed with this feat of strength and womanliness. How do you do it? How can you possibly get it together enough to go out and get the coffee without first having coffee?! I am impressed. I think I would have sat in the middle of the floor and cried.

DeleteI'm with Tangled Lou. I thought for a moment I was going to have to go to work the other day without coffee, however I found a jar I had forgotten about hidden in the cupboard, one huge sigh of releif!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is when Hubby tells me at 9:30 at night that we're out of dog food...still not sure how going to get it is my job since they're HIS dogs, but I guess those are the sacrifices we make for love. ;)
