Red

Red is the color of me
On days I love
And days I don't
I wish I was a mellow chilled out green
But I'm not
Never have been
Probably never will be
The good news is
My family loves me anyway
Red is the color of me
Flushed with gratitude and joy
Thankful for my husband and kids
And all the flaws they forgive.
