Super Saturday is an official term in our town. It refers to the first Saturday in the month, and our local hardware store (established 1903) has super savings on that day. The whole town has picked up on it, so the first Saturday has super sales up and down main street.
And no, we aren't so small town America that our main street is really named Main street. It's Olympic!
Today is not technically Super Saturday for the rest of my fellow towns folk, but for me, it was a super (de-duper!) Saturday. My husband finally had the day off, I made a really good pot of coffee, and the sun....The Sun Was Shining!
He casually mentioned that he'd heard of a rummage sale, did I want to go? Did I? Um, yes please! After a quick look at other garage sales in the area, we put the top down on our new (to us) convertible and hit the road with several stops in mind.
It was fun! The weather was lovely, the sales were treasure worthy, and the back roads were empty. There is nothing more super than spending a Saturday morning with my husband.....
Sounds like a great day! Hope you have a wonderful Sunday, too. :)
