We rang in 2012 with joy and laughter and several shouts of glee......
And this morning I woke up with a smile and even the aftermath of a party well done can't take that away!

My husband just came in from his shop, for a kiss and to tell me he's a lucky guy to start another year with me and that made me smile even more.....
My New Year is off to a very sweet start!

ReplyDeleteWe also had a good party! But today woke up to puking - B., not the boys. Ugh. Not how I wanted to start the new year!
ReplyDeleteAnnie and I made it all the way up until 9:00, before we tossed in the towel. Heck, that was a full hour later than normal, so I am going to quit while I'm ahead. Thanks for sharing the start of your new year-it's nice to be able to acknowledge the rocks that keep the foundation of our lives firmly in place, whether the rocks in the heads of the husbands of the world, are rolling around loose or not. Those husbands try hard.
ReplyDeleteIf it wasn't for all the teenagers in the house, I think I would have been in bed well before midnight! But their exuberance is contagious, and I was just as excited as them when we started counting down to the new year.
