I love a good eraser, I love the disappearing mistake, I love brushing away the shavings. I hate the idea that isn't transferring from my thoughts to my hand to my pencil to my paper.
One thing I have always appreciated about word-processing, is the ease with which I can edit my work. I used to need that eraser a lot. My fingers get ahead of my old pea brain, and that's not a good thing. I have a hard enough time as it is, relying on my brain, to allow my fingers to do the talking.
I usually stick to typing...less mess! But I found a stub of a pencil that I am really digging the feel of, and have tucked it into my journal for doodles and the odd thought or two.
