Small Stone #5

Today I feel the tick-tock of time, the awareness of how fast the years fly, all because I just swept up-and threw away-a Polly Pocket clothes hanger.  It is the size of my pinky nail and is so very useless in real play, but the sight of it invoked memories of our daughter when she was young. I hesitated with the broom in I wish I had put it back in the china closet.

  1. I remember those. They're tucked away in a box somewhere, along with numerous teensy pairs of shoes, and Polly Pocket accessories.
